Philadelphia, PA

We arrived in Pennsylvania and immediately realized we were no longer in the hot, hot south!  Not a problem when we were staying one-mile from the largest mall in the US.  We made a quick run through Old Navy and walked away with hoodies for everyone!
Philadelphia began with Rocky.  Maddox's First Grade teacher loves Rocky and even has a dog named Rocky so Maddox was thrilled to see the statue of Rocky and pose for a picture!
Liberty Bell was our next stop....so much has changed since I visited the Bell many moons ago!  I am pretty sure I touched the Liberty Bell back then!
We enjoyed a few moments just hanging out in the visitors center (Maddox looks miserable but she wasn't, she was all about faces and then would crack up because she knew I was taking pics!).  Philadelphia was a bit rainy for the first part of our day so hanging out was a good thing for this crew!
Posing with Ben Franklin was a highlight for these two!
MK was thrilled to visit Independence Hall.  She studied US history this year so seeing her studies come to life was a thrill for her!

When in Philly, eat like the Philadelphians....Sonny's did not disappoint!  We inhaled one cheesesteak and one pizza cheesesteak....yummo!
The tour of Independence Hall was intriguing for these littles....seeing where our Declaration of Independence was created and signed was thrilling for all of us!
Little Maryn goes 100% and crashes fast....she is and was such a good little traveler!
