Thanksgiving

Some of our favorites came to visit us for the week of Thanksgiving!
We had great fun showing them around our hometown and exploring a little down by the canal.
Our house was full of laughter and good food
and we all reminisced about the good ole days
and we made memories to take these guys into adulthood....hence, the hayride with no hay??
Thanksgiving Day we ventured over to my father's uncle's farm....
the cotton field was a picture favorite...
and these guys had fun being together for their last day of togetherness!
Thanksgiving at the farm is something I have grown up with.  From the time I was itty bitty, to now at 45 years old, I have never known a Thanksgiving without the farm.  My dad, aka Pop, thrives on all of his people being there....he loves this time surrounded by all of his family from all over the country, everyone comes and it's just known that there will be lots of food, lots of fellowship, lots of catching up, and lots of faces that have changed over the years that you have to pray that you remember their names :)  It's aunts, uncles, great aunts/uncles, 1st cousins, 2nd cousins, them cousins, those cousins, and it's who is that?  Over 100 people show up yearly, young and old.  It's an amazing day!
