Guangzhou

We made it to our final China destination safely. I would like to say that it was a pleasant plane ride but that would not be so. We were delayed due to the "adverse" weather conditions in Guangzhou, then we boarded and bounced the whole 1 1/2 hour flight to our destination....for those who know me well, I was a mess. Mason-Kate did pretty well on her first flight....she is a squirmy girl so we did a lot of passing back and forth....thank heaven for gummies, those seem to do the trick when all else fails. Colin kept asking if we were going to have to make an emergency landing....Pryce just laughed. Then we arrived at the White Swan Hotel....very nice....probably our nicest hotel yet. We played musical rooms for about an hour....they originally put us in a suite with only one bed....then they moved us to another room only to tell us that we could not stay there....so now we have landed in our final room and it will be our home for the rest of the week. It is rainy here....blah, the views from the room are very nice...two "beautiful spots"....the hotel is next to a river so we have been watching the boats. That is about it really....we are here, we are safe and we will have more to say tomorrow....hope that you all have a happy Easter.

So glad to hear that y'all made it safely. Beth, I would have been a mess on that flight too! We have really enjoyed reading all about your travels and seeing the pics. Bryant is all concerned that Pryce has to eat Chinese food! He's not too sure about that! It looks like MK is fitting in just perfectly-what a gift she is!
Enjoy your week and we'll look forward to reading more!
Happy Easter!

Happy Easter gang! We can't wait to see the pictures of Mason-Kate on the famous Red Couch! Make sure you all check out Lucy's for lunch or dinner now that you are in Guangzhou. Good burgers/chicken/fries!

I hope that I can post a comment to Tom and Kirstin-I was at your house Friday and left a present for Chloe. Your sister gave me this blog address and she had printed out some photos. What a great time in your lives! I will stop by sometime after your return. Hope goes to you and your friends for a great trip!
