MK

Freedom
MK has been dancing with the Columbia County Ballet performing company for five years.  She is simply beautiful to watch, so graceful with every step she takes.  Freedom was performed in a local outdoor theatre on September 11. For most shows that our girls are in, I watch rehearsals and become very familiar with the shows before the actual performances.  For this one, I did not.  Performance day was a total surprise to me and to our family.  I was moved to tears as I watched the show....the talent from my own child, the hard work that clearly paid off, the choreography was stunning, all in all just a wonderful evening of ballet.

The dance dad at his finest.  This guy loves his family and is always there for support be it in sports or dance!  We are all lucky to call him ours!
Homecoming 2021
Our gorgeous MK
I love that she has friends she has literally grown up with
Amelia - they were at swim team practices together before they could even swim

Caleigh and Camden....our twin friends who have loved our MK since their first day together in 3rd grade.

And her friends who are all part of the gang....they always have the best time together no matter what the occasion is.
And her sister friends....I pray everyday that these four grow to be the best of friends!
So proud of our MK!  As a high school Freshman, I have witnessed her step up to the plate and take on the weight of AP classes, a higher level skill of dance (she was promoted to the Apprentice level), join the student government association at school, teach ballet to younger girls who dream to be like her, and to navigate all of the above in stride. She has a gift in making all things look easy but to those who know her behind the scenes, we see how hard she works and know her determination to do all things well.
