First Speech Evaluation

On Saturday, Maddox had her first speech evaluation. Nothing too shocking but our girl is going to have her work cut out for her! She was very receptive to the therapist doing the evaluation. For this, we are thankful.
Maddox, you will be reading this one day. And on that day, I do want you, as well as the general population to know that though I think you are the sweetest of hearts, you have a dark side. This became apparent once again this morning prior to going to church. All four of our kiddos on the couch. Maddox decides she wants to sit next to Pryce - which is where MK is. Poor MK. Maddox opens mouth, moves in to MK's back and chomp! The bite. The tears. From both. Eventually we make it to church and as we are walking in, people are commenting on Maddox and how cute she is and how sweet she looks. MK looks at one of the ladies and says, "Yes, but she bites!" So, back to speech, we are praying for a few quick words so that Miss Maddox will not be feeling the need to use her TEETH :)
And as I type this, it is 7:30ish on a Sunday evening. Ryan just came down to inform me that MK is asleep - not because we told her to go to sleep and definitely not because it is quiet in our home. You see, our boys are taking turns on the drums teaching themselves how to play songs that we sing in church.....sounds good but it is LOUD.

Our first daughter was a biter, and her second son as well. If this is your first experience with it, give her no attention. None at all. Remove her and give all the attention to the victim, in a big way. Cures it pretty fast.

Good luck with the speech--and the drums.
