Basketball Courts?

MK: "Dad, isn't it weird that Maddox is waking up when we go to bed and she is going to sleep when we are waking up?! Why is that?"

Ryan: "Well, because Maddox is on the other side of the world."

MK, staring blankly, says, "So Maddox is in the sky?"

Ryan: "No, the earth is like a basketball. We are on one side and Maddox is on the other."

MK: "So, we will have to fly over a basketball court to see Maddox?"

Ryan: "We will probably have to fly over a bunch of basketball courts to see Maddox."

MK: "Well, when you came to get me, did you laugh when you looked out of the window on the

plane and saw all of those basketball courts?"

In other news, we have not yet received confirmation on our travel dates to China. We are (not so) patiently waiting to hear from our agency :)
